HEXDALLE® SAE RUBBER TILES - 1

PRODUCT DATA SHEET – HEXDALLE® SAE TILES I. CHARACTERISTICS The tiles are made of recycled black rubber aggregate which has been sorted and graded, bound by volume-dyed polyurethane elastomer resin. As a result of the composition, expansion in heat and shrinking in the cold are quite normal. Other processed chemical elements are used in the composition of our tiles to give them their solidity and elasticity. II. COLOURS Brick red – Green – Black – Grey During storage, make sure the tiles are not partially exposed to UV rays as this will affect the colour. If the colour of the tiles is not exactly uniform, simply wait a few weeks for the colour to even out. A colour loss can occur without altering the characteristics of the tile. Green is more sensitive to UV rays than red. A special PU 63 or PA 63 non-slip paint can be applied by airless spraying by a specialist to ® renovate the appearance of HEXDALLE tiles that have faded with time. III. DIMENSIONS Tiles of 500 x 500 mm Thickness: 75 mm (30 mm + 45 mm overlaid) Microporous tiles with water drainage system integrated under the tile The Hexdalle SAE rubber tiles are designed to comply with the NF P90-312 standard for the reception of artificial climbing structures with belay point. ® The Hexdalle SAE rubber tile reception surface prevents important st injuries when a fall occurs before the 1 belay point located at a maximum 3.10 m height from the ground. ® The small “cushions” located underneath the Hexdalle SAE tile (different from the hardness of the surface) are shock-absorbing. HEXDALLE tiles are designed to keep maintenance costs low. They can be simply washed (maximum 3 Bars) or swept with a soft brush. You can also use our bactericidal cleaning product: Cleandalle FC. Allow 72 hours after sticking before cleaning for the first time. Never use a solvent to clean the tiles. ® HEXDALLE SAE tiles are flexible, sound-proof, non-slip, rot-proof and hygienic. They are also pleasant in shape and colour. The HEXDALLE SAE rubber tiles need to be laid on a stable, homogenous (concrete slab, bitumencoated aggregate, compacted aggregate), clean and flat ground with a 1% minimum slope. First lay the 30 mm-thick rubber tiles. Fix them on the ground with our PU93 gel glue or use our plastic pins (4 holes / tile) to assemble the tiles altogether. Models, drawings and names are registered. No copy or reprography is permitted without prior written authorization. This manual was modified in April 2012 and may be updated; please make sure this is the latest version. Proceed to cuttings if necessary then lay the 45 mm-thick rubber tiles on top (only using our plastic pin system). Then, cut the tiles if necessary. It is mandatory to belt the tiles at the periphery using our 75 to 10 mm bevelled edges or our rubber P1/P2 reversible edgings. Concrete slab The protected area has to be 2.50 m in all possible directions of fall compared with the vertical projection of an imaginary line placed on the SAE, 3 meters from the ground. In order to avoid having a step that would be too big, we recommend you to dig the existing ground so to have a surface continuity....
