Stewie, floor Luca Nichetto 2012 The Stewie lamp is a sensation on the domestic scene, a surprising and appealing character, which is both warm, relaxing and friendly, starting with the light it sheds. indeed, the beam of light is cast downwards, creating a particular atmosphere within the room, which is irresistible and appealing, almost a contemporary hearth. The light from within is not just cast forwards, but also behind the volume of the lamp. Stewie has a soft yet dynamic body, which is large yet light-weight, just like the material used to make it: thermoformed polyethylene covered with a prismatic fabric, which is similar to that used for the production of trunks, backpacks, spectacle cases and motorcycling helmets. In 2006 he founded his studio, Nichetto&Partners, that deals with Design Consultant as well as Industrial Design.
