Technical Specifications- Certification: Certification process by Intertek Testing and Certification Ltd. is in progress, conforming to IEC 61400-2, including AWEA 9.1 for US/Canada and MCS for the UK. Certificate No.: SO-DV-11019.
- Performance: Maximum output is 5800W, with an output of 3.4kW at 11 m/s wind speed. The cut-in wind speed is 2.5 m/s, rated wind speed is 17 m/s, and survival wind speed is 60 m/s.
- Rotor Blades: The turbine has 3 rotor blades with a diameter of 5.0 m and an area of 19.63 m². The airfoil used is E 387, with a tip speed ratio of 7. The material is glass-fibre reinforced epoxy.
- Generator: It uses permanent Ne-Fe-Br magnets producing 3-phase AC. The RPM operation range is 120 - 450, with a voltage range from 48 to 500VDC standard, and other voltages available on request. Frequency ranges from 0-70 Hz.
- Other Features: The turbine has no gearbox and includes an automatic braking switch. Rotor speed control is managed by an inclined hinged vane, and output control is through voltage control with a dump load. Rectifiers are built inside the controller. The hub type is rigid, and the yaw system is a tail vane. The rotor position is upwind.
- Tower: Options include a guyed steel tubular tower or a free-standing tube mast, both with heights ranging from 12 to 24 meters.
- Head Weight: 200 kg.
