LASTING SENSATIONS fogia, based in Stockholm, is one of Sweden's leading furniture brands. From our beginnings back in 1981, we have collaborated with some of the most recognised designers in Scandinavia. Fogia believes that design is the sum of three parts: quality, feeling and good craftsmanship. Blend intelligent material selection with impeccable craftsmanship and you get quality. Feeling is a little trickier though; special yet intangible, a sensation that grows stronger through time. We manufacture all our furniture and products in our own factory, using traditional and cutting edge crafting...

Persimon lamps by note Persimon The brief given to note was to create Fogia’s first lamp. The result is a bold expression and a study in materiality and grace. Taking its inspiration from the segments hidden inside the contours of the persimon fruit, Note explored the limits of scale in the lamp’s glass shade. Could glass be used in design as a textile? How thin could the lamp be without compromising durability? persimon breaks new ground for Fogia and working with Note, our longstanding collaborators, felt logical, natural and exciting.

Print rugs by luca nichetto Print We’re fans of rugs at Fogia. We love designing them as much as we love making them. They’re just versatile; one of those pieces of home decor that serves multiple purposes. For 2018 we asked luca nichetto to create some rugs with us. The results he called print, after the generic patterns a home or office printer runs to test its ink levels. Each colour way flows through a block of the colour spectrum with an almost binary repeat. Made to last, made to be used, made to be a focal point, made by Fogia with Luca Nichetto.

Big Sur table & desk by simon klenell & kristoffer sundin Big Sur Carpenter and furniture maker kristoffer sundin and glass designer simon klenell collaborated to create big sur — an elegant coffee table and freshlylaunched desk made up of glass sheets available in four different colours. The piece’s differently combined glass sheets create dramatic light and shadow effects. The open expanses of glass and colour drama lifts inspiration from the iconic Big Sur area of California, sliced through by the iconic Highway 1 and its staggering views.

Grande table by note Grande table Big things stand strong as they say. Strong and timeless in the case of grande, note’s new table. Sturdy in oak, with not a sign of veneer or faux-finish, Grande is a table for people, with hints of shaker design blended with Scandinavian detailing. Designed with a purposeful duality, Note found a balance between dining, meeting and working. Today’s spaces, whether work or home, are increasingly open-plan with the table acting as a magnet for interaction and socialising. The table itself has undergone a testing period at Note’s own studio, serving as a resilient...

Myko chair by stefan Borselius Myko Part chair, part work of craft art, myko is another example of why stefan borselius is held in such high regard in design circles. A designer’s designer. There’s a sense of security in the way Borselius works, sketching heavily and constructing prototypes which could well be sold straight off. Perfect proportions, precise construction, minimal waste and fine use of materials. Surround your dining table with them, or slide one under your desk, and you’ll soon find excuses to sit for a while longer than usual.

Ropemaker The ropemaker rug collection complements Fogia’s existing rug range with vibrant monochrome rugs that exude energy and texture thanks to the materials and technology used. As the name suggests, ropemaker is inspired by classic rope making. Rope and cords are interestingly twisted and wound to give variation in the colour, material and thickness of the different threads. The rug takes on the strength of a twisted rope – both visually and literally.
