Product catalog summary
Operating Instructions
  • Lighting the Stove: Gradually introduce heat to adapt materials, ensure all components are in place, and remove packaging. Use the supplied tool for air control adjustments.
  • Wood Burning Tips: Maintain small, hot fires for efficiency, avoid overstacking fuel, and adjust air controls gradually.
  • Running Temperature: Maintain flue gas temperatures between 150°C and 300°C using a thermometer for optimal performance.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Regularly clean the glass, check for soot build-up, and sweep the chimney annually or more frequently if used regularly.
Installation Instructions
  • Building Regulations: Comply with local and European standards and consult a chimney sweep for suitability checks.
  • Ventilation: Ensure adequate air supply, especially for stoves with outputs over 5kW.
  • Hearth and Clearances: Install on a non-combustible hearth with specified clearances to combustible materials.
  • Chimney Requirements: Inspect and sweep the chimney before installation, ensuring it serves only the stove.
Product Data
  • Model: FB2
  • Weight: 95KG
  • Nominal Heat Output: 12KW
Chimney and Flue Pipe Recommendations: Fit chimneys with a strong updraft and use a flue pipe damper or draft stabilizer to regulate chimney draught. Ensure the damper does not close the pipe completely, leaving at least 20% open.
Flue Connection: The stove offers rear and top flue connections. Cover the unused outlet with a flue blanking plate and secure it with a clamp. Seal flue connections with fire cement or a high-temperature rope seal. A typical installation requires a register plate and a 6” flue pipe.
Operational Problems:
  • Blackened Glass: Caused by damp wood, insufficient air intake, or low stove temperature. Use wood with less than 20% moisture and ensure adequate air intake.
  • Smoke in Room: Avoid opening the door with high flames, check chimney performance, and ensure any flue damper or stabilizer is open.
  • Uncontrollable Combustion: Check for damaged door seals and consider fitting a draft stabilizer if chimney draft is excessive.
Warranty: The stove comes with a two-year guarantee for defects due to faulty workmanship during normal use, excluding replaceable parts such as glass, door rope seals, and fire brick linings.
