The floor must not have any removable parts, dust, grease, oils, waxes, varnishes, release agents or anything else that could prohibit the adhesion of the slabs. For pre-mixed installations, verify that they are appropriate to use with a coating. Note: For more difficult applications, use coarse-grained adhesive with a 12/15 mms serrated knife. For wall coatings, apply a second coat. Follow the directions provided by the adhesive manufacturer carefully. • For series for exteriors E-F-B-M: Any excess cement or adhesive that is visible during the installation of the slabs is immediately removed with a sponge or wet broom. We recommend not to seal the quadratures, or sealed with silica sand. The use of only cement for tiled surfaces is absolutely prohibited. After installation, protect the slabs for at least 24 hours from rain or from direct sun. Seal the tiles after a few days. Etna volcanic material Types (Grey - Red - Black - Green - Yellow - Orange - Brown): polishing must be done at least 10/15 days after installation. It is suggested that the tiles be polished with a very fine wheel (800/1000 grain) and that the polishing is finished with lead andpoten. Do not use oxalic acid.
