Fieger Louvre Window

Product catalog summary
Introduction
Fieger Louvre Windows (FLW) are advanced double-glazed louvre windows with thermally-broken extruded aluminum frames. These windows are designed for optimal ventilation and visual enhancement, providing a uniform appearance when closed. They are suitable for various applications, including facades, conservatories, schools, and office buildings.

Specifications
The FLW systems are certified according to EN 12101-2, ensuring compliance with natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems (NSHEVs). The frames are thermally broken, and the louvres are adjustable via a maintenance-free rack and pinion drive. The system offers a maximum opening angle of 90 degrees, providing a large free area for ventilation.

Applications
Fieger louvre windows are ideal for modern ventilation designs, reducing energy requirements and ensuring a comfortable atmosphere. They are particularly effective for smoke control in modern buildings, offering maximum ventilation free area and quick opening times.

System Variants
The FLW SmoTec system is available with various electric drives, each with specific dimensions, shear force, and power consumption. These include:
  • Type STG Beikirch FLA 1200
  • Type GU Eltral S 24 LAM
  • Type D + H LDF 100/60
  • Type WSS 6000
Each variant offers different housing options and is designed to meet specific application needs.

Design and Functionality
The Fieger "all glass" louvre windows combine the functional advantages of traditional louvre windows with the optical benefits of a frameless design. The rack and pinion drive ensures smooth and synchronized operation, and the windows can be operated with conventional drives.

Additional Information
Fieger provides comprehensive support through their website, offering downloads of window drawings, tender forms, and enquiry forms. They also offer maintenance contracts for routine inspections and commissioning services for SmoTec louvre windows.
