Materials and Construction

Side Panels: Pressure bent sheet metal, 0.8 mm thick, reinforced top and bottom for stable attachment.
Shelves: Sheet metal, 0.7 mm thick, height-adjustable with 25 mm pitch, triple folded edges for strength, designed to hold hanging folders with a 330 mm center distance, supporting up to 90 kg evenly distributed.
Back Panel: Pressure bent sheet metal, 0.7 mm thick, inserted between side panels for stability.
Base and Ceiling: Sheet metal, 0.7 mm thick, with central reinforcement profiles for two-bay systems.
Doors: Hinged or sliding doors made of 0.7 mm thick sheet metal, with key locks. Hinged doors open 115° with a bascule system (no visible hinges). Sliding doors available in metal or tempered glass with metal runners and thermoplastic ball bearings for quiet operation. Recessed handles.

Finishes and Coatings

The metal parts are coated with a non-toxic powder coating suitable for interior use, free of heavy metals, cured at 190°C after degreasing and phosphating. The coating guarantees a minimum thickness of 50 microns and resistance to salt spray for at least 200 hours (ASTM B117 standard). The coating is not suitable for direct food contact as per Italian regulations. Optional treatments are available to enhance wear and weather resistance at an additional cost. A wide range of RAL colors is offered in three finishes: High Gloss (HG), Matt (MT), and Embossed (EM).

Packaging and Assembly

Products are supplied disassembled to facilitate transport. Packaging dimensions and weights correspond to the total of all packages. Assembly is straightforward, using galvanized click fasteners (2 mm thick) that slot into anti-disengagement holes on the side panels. The back panel insertion and reinforced base and top ensure rapid and stable assembly. Assembled products are available upon request.
