History and Tradition
Fameg has a rich history of 135 years in producing high-quality furniture, tracing back to 1881 when Michael Thonet, a Viennese inventor, pioneered a unique wood bending technique. This tradition continues today, with Fameg's chairs being admired in over 50 countries.

Materials
The furniture is crafted from natural wood, primarily beechwood, which is ideal for bending. Other woods like ash, alder, walnut, and oak are also used. The process begins with tree logging and ends with a finished chair.

Technology and Craftsmanship
Selected timber undergoes drying and mechanical treatment to achieve the furniture's unique shape through precise craftsmanship. The wood is then heat-treated, with high-pressure steaming at 105°C to make it elastic for forming unusual shapes.

Design and Innovation
Fameg combines traditional technology with modern design, collaborating with renowned Polish designers to create comfortable, ergonomic, and aesthetically pleasing furniture. As a leading manufacturer of bentwood furniture in Europe, Fameg strives to maintain its position in the industry.
