- Composition: The BLOC bin is constructed with FSC® certified tropical hardwood slats, a frame made of either galvanised and powder-coated mild steel or stainless steel, and stainless steel front and rear panels. The bin liner is made of galvanised mild steel, accessible via a front door with a slam lock.
- Dimensions: The bin measures 630mm in length, 450mm in width, and 1050mm in height (Metric) or 2’ 1” in length, 1’ 5½” in width, and 3’ 5½” in height (Imperial). The bin liner has a capacity of 80 liters.
- Fixing Centres & Method: The fixing centres are 400mm (1’ 3½”) apart, using two resin fixed anchors concealed in the base.
- Approximate Weight: 127kg.
- Foundation: A recommended foundation is one pad measuring 600 x 400 x 400 mm in C20 concrete.
- Handling: Health and safety lifting guidelines should be observed. A forklift or crane is required for off-loading and positioning.
- Maintenance: Maintenance depends on usage and position, with all elements requiring annual cleaning. Galvanised and powder-coated mild steel only need maintenance if damaged.
