Serpentine Seat Specifications
Composition: The seat and back are made from FSC® certified tropical hardwood or oak, combined with aluminum spacers. The back struts and optional armrests are crafted from satin polished stainless steel.
Base Options: Two base options are available: satin polished stainless steel (tubular) and bush hammered grey/white granite (elliptical).
Wood Finish: The seat comes with a natural finish as standard. Oil or microporous woodstain finishes are available upon request.
Dimensions: The seat measures 2300mm in length, 570mm in width, and 795mm in height (excluding an additional 100mm for the tube base sub-surface fix option). In imperial units, this translates to a length of 7’ 6½”, width of 1’ 10½”, and height of 2’ 7½”.
Weight: The approximate weight is 89kg for the tubular base and 169kg for the elliptical base.
Fixing Centres & Method: Tubular bases are fixed with two resin-fixed anchors per base, with a sub-surface option available. Elliptical bases use a concealed resin-fixed anchor, one per base.
Foundation: It is recommended to use two pads measuring 400 x 400 x 400 mm in C20 concrete.
Handling: Health and safety lifting guidelines should be followed. A forklift or crane is necessary for offloading and positioning the items.
