DESIGN KASPEP, SALTO

3 Kato is born and bread for public space. Its form adapts to its setting and to the human body. The seat bears your weight, while the back accepts your figure with extra upholstery. The armrest defines and concludes the form with respect for space and location. The volume of the bulk floats on a needle-slender frame to lighten the visual effect. The rest is logic and symmetry.

5 Small on the outside, large on the inside, Kato provides ample room for two plus a courteous arm’s length.

6 160 centimetres on the outside, Kato moves effortlessly through doors and up and down stairs.

9 Fine as a needle, the stainless steel frame lifts the sofa from the floor, just enough to make it easy to clean underneath.

10 A robust foam-body makes the seat bounce back in shape in seconds, and the rise of the arch automatically stretches the cover to prevent creasing.
