Very heavy loads. Novojunta Pro® Metal SIS a100 is a profile system made entirely of aluminium for installation in large expansion joints. This system consists of pieces that slide together, allowing for the absorption of large multidirectional movements. Its design facilitates mobility while keeping the visible surface flat and without protrusions. With a ribbed visible surface, it is an ideal model for heavy traffic areas thanks to its outstanding load-bearing capacity and wear resistance. Applications Buildings and construction elements are subject to deformation and geometric variations. The installation of expansion joints helps to reduce the effects that these variations have on the building as a whole, preventing the appearance of pathologies. The CTE (Technical Building Code) in its DB-SAE (Actions in Building) establishes that in concrete or steel buildings, expansion joints shall be arranged so that there are no continuous elements longer than 40 m. Novojunta® Pro Metal SIS is a solution for structural joints consisting of a set of large, high-strength sliding aluminium pieces.
