TECHNICAL FICHA TÉC- DATA SHEET NICA Novojunta® Pro Aluminio PLUS Occasional Profile for structural joints made of aluminum and EPDM to be installed before flooring installation. It consists of two reinforced aluminum profiles, holed in their base and a central body made of high quality EPDM that absorbs multidirectional movements and has excellent mechanical properties, being also resistant to weather and UV rays. It can be installed between floors of different thicknesses thanks to the combinable side pieces available in different heights. This product is delivered unmounted and includes the fixing screws. The rubber is replaceable. Available firestop cords and EPDM membrane depending on the model. Applications The buildings and constructive elements are under strains caused by thermal variations. The installation of expansion joints helps to minimize the effects that these variations cause in the whole building, preventing a possible structural damage.
