TECHNICAL FILE Novosuelo/Novopared Brass Profile with simple lines made of brass, intended to be installed as an edge protector, flooring separator, countertop finish... It can be installed with floor or wall tiles between 3 and 30 mm width. Available in natural finish. General Features Material: Applications Novosuelo/Novopared Brass is a profile designed to protect edges of ceramic installations. It can also be installed as a flooring separator or countertop finish among others. Technical Features and tests Alloy: Fire resistance: Materials Brass The brass is an copper and zinc alloy with multiple industrial applications. This material is easy to mechanize, engrave and melt. It is resistant to corrosion, saline conditions and is ductile, so it can be transformed through several processes. The Emac® profiles made of brass have been manufactured by extrusion, obtaining so a highly accurate dimensional tolerance. This guarantees its optimal appearance and functionality. Then, spread a big amount of thin-set mortar on the other side. 2. TECHNICAL FILE Novosuelo/ Novopared Brass Floors 1. Spread a big amount of thin-set mortar on the surface to be tiled. 2. Then, place the profile and press it to let the thin-set mortar pass through the holes on the anchoring wing. 3. Place a tile on the anchoring wing of the profile and press to get an optimal contact with the thinset mortar. 4. Repeat the previous step placing tiles along the profile until the installation is finished. Before curing, tap with a rubber hammer to align the profile with the pavement.
