Overview
The Quietflow SQS series consists of acoustically treated single in-line fans designed for internal mounting. These fans feature the BAT (Best Available Technology) Vpro backward curved impeller and are powered by Ziehl-Abegg EC external rotor motors. Constructed from galvanized steel, they can operate at temperatures up to +60°C. The series offers 11 sizes ranging from 100mm to 710mm, with air volume flow rates reaching up to 4.31 m³/s for AC and 4.4 m³/s for EC, and static pressures up to 1179 Pa for AC and 1202 Pa for EC.

Casing
The casing is made of 1.2mm galvanized mild steel, lined internally with fire-resistant acoustic foam. It includes spigots for standard circular ducting and EPDM rubber seals for secure fitting. A removable lid facilitates maintenance.

Impeller
The impeller is a high-efficiency, low-noise backward curved centrifugal type, dynamically balanced to ISO 14694 Grade G6.3 for smooth airflow.

Motors
Available in EC or AC types, the motors feature sealed bearings and thermal classes THCL 130 or 155. They are suitable for ambient air conditions up to +60°C and include an IP55 terminal box for electrical connections.

Quality Management
Manufactured under BS EN ISO 9001:2008 standards, all units are tested according to ISO 5801:2007 for airside performance and BS 848 Part 2:1985 for sound performance.

Applications
These fans are typically used in toilets, bathrooms, hotels, schools, colleges, and libraries.
