The fourth-generation family business has been committed to the topics of healthy living, emission reduction and sustainability for many years. Since August 2021, elka has been certified as a climate-neutral company (balance sheet, including CO2 certificates). Due to the exemplary value chain, almost all parts of the logs used can be processed. Raw woods are sourced exclusively from suppliers who are committed to the sustainability principles of the Pan-European Forest Certification (PEFC) and FSC.
