What's the difference between MFC and laminate? Eurodekor Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC) MFC consists of raw chipboard coated on both sides with melamine resin-impregnated decorative paper. EGGER offers different grades of MFC including Furniture Grade (P2) and Moisture resistant Furniture Grade (P3). Laminate is both versatile and hard wearing. An attractive product for designers, laminate is ideal for mid to high traffic surfaces as well as curved elements. As a decorative coating material, it can be bonded on chipboard and MDF, as well as multiplex, plywood and other core materials.
