Effisus Bond FT tape Surface Preparation All substrates should be dry. Please clean all substrates using the Effisus Cleaner. Any loose material should be removed. Bonding operations can not be carried out over iced surfaces. Primer Application Apply the Effisus Primer RED+ to all surfaces where Effisus Bond FT Tape will be applied using the supplied scrub pad. Scrub the membrane thoroughly while the primer is wet moving up and down the seam area. Allow the primer to dry to the touch (no material transfer). Dry time will vary depending on ambient temperature and humidity (typically less than 20 minutes). NOTE: Use caution when installing at temperatures below 5ºC (40ºF) to prevent blushing of EPDM primer (formation of condensation on surface of primer). Once the primer is dry immediately install Effisus Bond FT Tape. Position Effisus Bond FT Tape over primed area and remove release liner. Press down and form Effisus Bond FT Tape by hand. Roll the Effisus Bond FT Tape with a 5cm wide silicone roller.
