Installation Guidelines

• Substrate: Must be a compact, self-leveling substrate.
• Adhesives: Use specific adhesives such as MAPEI GRANIRAPID, MAPEI KERALASTIC, KERAKOLL H40 MARMOREX, KERAKOLL H40 SUPERFLEX, or equivalents.
• Joint Spacing: Minimum 1-1.5 mm for tiles up to 40x40 cm; 2 mm for larger formats; joints filled with color-matched grout (e.g., MAPEI ULTRACOLOR, KERAKOLL FUGABELLA).
• Cutting Tools: Diamond slitting wheels for dry or wet cutting; diamond tools for marble recommended for edge shaping.
• Handling: Larger formats and slabs may exhibit slight curvature due to material flexibility; tiles/slabs should be laid flat for at least 2 hours before installation.
• Tolerances: Tiles are sectioned but not rectified; dimensional deviations per ISO standards are +/-1 mm for sizes under 60x60 cm and +/-2 mm for larger sizes.
• Heated Substrates: Increase joint spacing by approximately 1 mm and add latex-based elasticizer to adhesive.

Maintenance and Cleaning

• Use neutral cleaning products such as FILACLEANER or GEAL CB90.
• Avoid acidic or anti-scale products to prevent surface opacity.
• Surface wear can be restored using Scotch-Brite brushes or disks, cloth disks, and marble polishing cream or wax.

Additional Recommendations

• For shower bases and related wall coverings, waterproofing of the substrate and walls up to one meter height is mandatory.
• Visual defects claims after installation are not accepted.
