The Corallo Bed, designed by Fernando and Humberto Campana, is crafted from an irregular interweaving of steel wire that is bent by hand. It is joined by thousands of welds, meticulously cleaned, brushed, and rounded to achieve a tactile softness and pleasantness. Each bed is handmade, making it a unique piece. The complex creation process takes approximately three weeks. The bed features a golden finish that includes a percentage of pure 24 kt gold.
The structure is made of hand-bent steel wire with galvanic gliding and a transparent lacquer finish. It includes a slatted bed-base made from coated plywood.
