Antique American Barnwood Weathered Silvergrey Our most natural grey look is achieved by simply exposing the wood to sunlight and rain. Our barnwood is reclaimed from farms and old houses where the surface has been exposed to the weather for decades. The result ia a grooved, textured structure with a natural colour variation between silver and anthracite grey, with some hints of brown. We leave this finish as natural as time intended. It’s ideal for wall and ceiling cladding, both in exterior and interior wet areas like spas. Antique American Barnwood natural unfinished surface Reclaimed mixed-wood cladding, generally exposed to the outdoor climate for a period of around 50 years. Maintenance This natural patina is low maintenance on walls. If cleaned with water with our Deckfresh finish, the dry grey surface remains protected against algae and keeps its pure look. Spot repair and Refinish Any damage on the surface won't need a touch up, as the bare wood will quickly weather out to grey if exposed to sun and rain. Recommended patterns Color variation Patina change in time Whilst we endeavour to portray grain and colour as realistically as possible in our samples and photography, a sample or a photo can never be an exact representation of an entire floor. As wood is a natural material, variations in colour and grain occur. Floors may also change in appearance over time through exposure to light, wear and tear, and maintenance. ** Pre-finishing of solid floors may be subject to stricter recommendations for limited board dimensions and climate control. Then it’s important to realize that, due to the impact of climate, a small amount of movement may occur in the boards. We recognize that small natural imperfections like...
