The Wallbox multi connect and multi connect II are designed for intelligent charging, conforming to Mode 3 according to IEC 61851. They offer power categories of 3.7 kW / 11 kW or 7.2 kW / 22 kW. The devices support solar charging starting from 1.38 kW. Key features include a status lamp, E3/DC portal and app integration, and a key switch for the multi connect model. The multi connect II includes RFID functionality. Both models have a single type 2 charging point with a capacity of 32 A, 400 V, 3-phase or 16 A, 230 V, 1-phase. The dimensions are 250.5 x 549 x 173 mm, with a weight of 6.2 kg. They operate within a temperature range of -25 to +50°C and a maximum relative humidity of 95%. The protection rating is IP55 with impact resistance IK08.
The Wallbox systems are ready for charging capacities up to 11 kW or 22 kW, controlled by the E3/DC energy management system. They support intelligent charging reduction, allowing extensive solar power usage. Automatic phase switching enables 1-phase charging at low photovoltaic outputs, enhancing solar charging efficiency. Night-time and forecast-based charging are supported, optimizing solar power usage based on weather data and desired battery charge levels.
The 'Blackout Prevention' function helps avoid overloading the low-voltage distribution network by setting a maximum house connection output. The system regulates power usage by considering PV output, storage systems, and other loads.
The Wallbox models feature a UV-resistant plastic housing suitable for outdoor use (IP55). The multi connect II includes RFID functionality, while the multi connect model has a key switch for unauthorized charging protection. Both models can network with up to six additional Wallboxes via ModBUS(TCP). Electrical protection is provided by an integrated 6 mA DC RCM module.
