TECHNICAL DATA SHEET ZINC GALVANIZING SPRAY Zinc galvanizing spray of excellent quality and durability. Due to its high content of zinc particles (99%), it provides long-term rust and corrosion protection. It has excellent bonding strength and coverage, dries quickly, and is resistant to UV radiation. It forms a metallic coating, resistant to atmospheric pollutants, water, and salts. APPLICATIONS DUROSTICK’S ZINC GALVANIZING SPRAY is suitable for all iron structures and surfaces. It applies to tanks, pipes, metal silos, railings, handrails, blinds, garages, trailers, fittings, etc. Necessary after every welding job, to protect the welding bead(s) from rust. It is also used to repair and coat, even spot-coat, heavily weathered galvanized surfaces, to restore their original appearance. USE 1. Surface preparation Thoroughly remove rust, oils, dust, salts, etc. 2. Application Apply it in one, two or more, thin, overlapping coats, depending on the application and the degree of protection necessary. Shake the can well before each use and apply a thin coat evenly from a distance of 20-25cm. Once dry, apply the second coat. After use, clean the nozzle by turning the can upside down and spray until only gas comes out. It can also be used as a primer for enamel paints.
