TECHNICAL DATA SHEET D-38 Two component construction epoxy putty - adhesive Professional adhesive of gray color without solvents in putty form. The product features a breaking point that is greater than concrete. It has high adhesion properties. It is highly resistant to acids, alkalis, salts, and salt (sea) water, while it does not shrink. Classified as a structural bonding product to concrete per EN 1504-4 and RG per EN 13888. APPLICATIONS D-38 is used to repair concrete defects and seal cracks that will be injected with the epoxy resin DUROSTICK D-33. It is suitable for bonding similar and dissimilar construction and industrial materials, such as metal, polyester, glass, stone, fiber reinforced cement screeds etc. It is also suitable for anchoring expansion rebars and equipment as well as fastening metal formwork around concrete columns. The products is also suitable for coating and sealing-restoring defects and damage of industrial floors. 1. Surface preparation All application surfaces must be free from loose materials, dust, oils and moisture. 2. Application preparation Empty the plastic tube containing the hardener B, into the container with the resin A. Mix thoroughly for 5 minutes using a thin, metal putty knife until the mixture is smooth and of solid gray color. It is important to thoroughly scrape the bottom and the side walls of the container during the mixing process, to evenly distribute the hardener into the entire resin mass. 3. Application Apply the mixture using a putty knife or a gauging trowel. Remove the excess product using DUROSTICK THINNER 201, immediately after use. When applying over cracks, allow for 24 hours to pass before injecting DUROSTICK D-33 resin into the crack cavity.
