Suitable for use on interior and exterior wood, metal and suitably primed masonry surfaces. SYSTEM INFORMATION Stir thoroughly before use. The normal recommendation is to apply one coat of Armstead Trade Undercoat, followed by one or two coats of Armstead Trade High Gloss. (contact the AkzoNobel Technical Group). Heat Resistance: Generally resistant to heat up to 90°C, but some discolouration of light colours may occur at elevated temperatures. Water Resistance: Resistant to the levels of atmospheric humidity present in normal interior and exterior environments and will withstand repeated washing. Not suitable for use on immersed surfaces. FILM THICKNESS Film thickness will be dependent on the coverage achieved. Wet: 45 microns. Dry: 25 microns. COMPOSITION (NOMINAL) Pigment: Binder: Solvent: Brush or roller. Thoroughly rub down previously painted surfaces, using ‘wet flatting’ methods where possible, then wipe off with a damp, lint free cloth. Treat knots with a suitable knotting solution. New or bare surfaces should be primed with an appropriate primer. Note: Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
