SYSTEM INFORMATION Armstead Trade Wood Primer is a professional quality, solventbased wood primer with excellent adhesion properties providing an ideal surface for Armstead Trade Undercoat. Suitable for both interior and exterior use. Stir thoroughly before use. After suitable surface preparation, apply 1 coat of Armstead Trade Wood Primer to all bare wood and allow to dry. Finish with an appropriate Armstead Trade paint system. SURFACE PREPARATION Surfaces must be clean, dry, free from all defective or poorly adhering material, dirt, grease, wax etc. Thoroughly rub down previously painted surfaces, using ‘wet flatting’ methods where possible, then wipe o with a damp, lint free cloth. Treat any knots in wood with an appropriate knotting solution. Any surface defects must be filled with a suitable filler. Note: Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead. * Dependent upon temperature & humidity After use, remove as much paint as possible from brushes before cleaning with white spirit. WHITE WATER SPIRIT TRANSPORTATION & STORAGE Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost. To prevent spillage, please store and transport upright.
