FLUIBETON HP's Pozzolana reactivity is clearly superior to that of any other natural or synthetic Pozzolana. Concrete is resistant to highly chemically aggressive agents in the natural environment. FLUIBETON HP may be used in all types of high quality concrete: • reinforced or pre-stressed concrete mix structures exposed to chemically aggressive environmental agents (resistance to sulphates, calcium chloride, sodium chloride, carbon dioxide, etc.); • bleed-free (not exuding water) concrete with very high tensile strength; • cement-based mixes whose cement paste microstructure is more dense and compact with less porosity and permeability (improves the concrete's resistance to frost and thaw as well as durability); • concrete with superior cohesion and pseudo-plasticity properties (enhances pumpability). FLUIBETON HP enables you to produce high quality cement-based mixes. If you add FLUIBETON HP, fresh concrete is cohesive, uniformly consistent and non-segregable. It takes time for casting and vibration, but it is easier to pump. Hardened concrete proves to have an extremely dense and solid structure, and is both impermeable and resistant to aggressive agents in the natural environment. These properties are due to the FLUIBETON HP ingredients, which interact both chemically and physically. FLUIBETON HP is compatible with all cements. FLUIBETON HP may be used in conjunction with: • the EXPAN 25 expansion agent for concrete with less shrinkage; • FIBERMIX steel fibres and FIBERBETON fibrillated polypropylene fibres for fibre-reinforced concrete. WORKABILITY TIME If you add FLUIBETON HP to concrete, it does not significantly modify workability times. FLUIBETON HP may be used in proportions varying from 10-15 kg per 100 kg of cement. FLUIBETON HP is a powder additive formulated for high quality and highly durable structures. Accordingly, the minimum cement content must be 300 kg/m3 and minimum proportion of FLUIBETON HP superfluidifier 30 kg/m3 of concrete. Put FLUIBETON HP into the concrete mixer with aggregates and cement. Add water at a ratio of 40% of the cement weight. After adding the last ingredient, extend mixing time in the concrete mixer lorry by at least 5 minutes and adjust for any additional water requirements until you achieve the workability desired.
