CONCRETE LINE Anti-shrinkage expansion agent Non-metallic expansion agent to compensate for concrete and mortar shrinkage Technical Data Physical state: powder EXPAN 25 is a special calcium oxide-enriched additive with a specific grinding fineness. EXPAN 25 ingredients enable you to properly regulate the reaction rate with water and resulting calcium oxide to calcium hydroxide conversion. Colour: grey EXPAN 25 is used to compensate for concrete shrinkage and more specifically for: - reinforced and prestressed concrete structures - industrial flooring; - sports facility flooring: skating, cycling, track, tennis; - cold storage flooring; - shoring and underpinnings; - underground structures beneath the water table, cellars, bunkers; - elongated and fully two-dimensional structures; - redundant structures; - prestressed concrete beams; - annular girders and reticular beams; - bridge deck slabs; - raw concrete roof slabs; - thin concrete structures; - tunnel enclosures; - box profile and dome roofs; - filling in hollow structures. Hydraulic works - Pipes, conduits, sewers, culverts; - tanks, reservoirs, pools. Structures exposed to seawater, such as: - piers, quays, sea works slabs; - water purification plants; - tanks and receptacles for liquid or gaseous substances; - standard and prestressed concrete cylindrical structures; - liquid injection sealing. Structural restoration - Additional reinforcement and buttressing elements for existing structures; - column and support pile restoration; - floor slabs and flooring inserts; - rock and stone wall reinforcement. CONCRETE LINE EXPAN 25 should be put into the concrete mixer along with the cement and mixed for at least 5 minutes at high-speed rotation until all ingredients have been added. PACKAGING & STORAGE EXPAN 25 comes packaged in 20 kg bags. Stored properly in a dry location indoors, EXPAN 25 ingredients will remain intact for one year.
