The Kaba exos LA-PB registration unit is designed for flush socket mounting and offers a high level of security through encrypted communication with the interior door manager. It provides maximum protection against vandalism and sabotage and allows for a wide range of design integrations.

RRM Concept (Remote Reader Module)
The unit supports a variety of designs while ensuring spatial and technical security specifications are met. It is installed remotely from the door manager, which can be placed in a tamper-proof location.

Application Field
The registration unit is compatible with most European standard electric installation boxes and is easy to install due to simple cabling.

Dimensions
The unit measures 70x70x ~10mm and includes a central drill hole with a screw thread of M9 x 1.5.

Scope of Delivery
The package includes the registration unit with LED and buzzer, and an optional screw plug-in suitable for various European covers.

Ambient Conditions
Operating temperature ranges from -20° to +60°C, with storage temperatures from -40° to +85°C. It supports relative humidity from 0% to 95%, non-condensing.

Reading Distances
The unit supports reading with all Kaba LEGIC media, with maximum reading distances varying based on media type and installation conditions. Writing distances are approximately five percent shorter.

The unit is CE approved and complies with EN 300330 and ETS 300683 standards.

Suitable Housing/Covers
Compatible with covers from Feller Edizio, Jung CD 500, and Feller SEC for outdoor applications.

Signaling
Equipped with a buzzer for acoustic signaling and a 2-colour LED for access authorization indication.

Door Manager Devices
Compatible with Kaba exos DML2 and LS-110, both with offline functionality.

Communication
Uses coaxial cable 50Ω: RG-178 and LEGIC HF, encrypted. Recommended maximum cable lengths are 25m for badges and 15m for Kaba elolegic smart keys.
