Origin of Raw Material: The leather used is cowhide sourced from either European or non-European regions.
Tanning Process: The leather undergoes chrome tanning.
Dyeing: Aniline dyeing is performed in vats.
Thickness: The leather has a thickness ranging from 1.3 to 1.5 mm.
Type: The leather is classified as Nabuk.
Finishing: The leather is pre-coated with aniline and lightly treated with 3M Scotchgard™ to enhance stain resistance.
Main Characteristics: The Rachele leather is treated with aniline and buffed to achieve a cloudy vintage effect. The 3M Scotchgard™ treatment provides resistance to water and oil stains while maintaining the leather's feel, color, and breathability. The leather's quality is ensured through careful selection of raw materials and meticulous processing. Surface irregularities such as wrinkles and color variations are natural and add uniqueness to each piece. Consistent color shades cannot be guaranteed across different batches.
Care Instructions: A special cleaning kit is available for leather maintenance. Stains should be removed using a soft pad with water and neutral soap, applied gently to avoid dirt penetration. Common detergents and oils should not be used. Leather should not be exposed to direct sunlight, halogen
lamps, or heat sources. Contact with newspapers and staining clothing like jeans should be avoided to prevent ink and dye absorption. Excessive rubbing can damage the leather and stitching. Doimo Salotti Spa is not liable for damage resulting from improper treatment.
