The planks are produced of select raw wood cut from the lower 15 metres of the Douglas tree. The trees are felled when they are between 80 and 120 years old. Having survived everything they have been subjected to, these are mature trees with a high degree of stability and durability. The long lifespan leads to top-quality raw wood.
