Product catalog summary
Introduction
This document provides a comprehensive guide on installing and maintaining artificial grass for gardens, offering a low-maintenance solution for a perfect lawn. It is suitable for various applications such as play areas, pool surrounds, and roof terraces.

Specifications and Preparation
  • Artificial grass requires a stable, porous sub-base similar to that used for brick paving.
  • Essential materials include DESSO artificial grass, underlay, sand, a Stanley knife, and glued strips.
  • Installation should occur in dry weather, with temperatures between 5 and 25°C.

Installation Procedure
  1. Sub-base Preparation: Use 5-10 cm of crushed gravel or lava sand, ensuring a stable base with proper drainage.
  2. Laying Grass Rolls: Align the nap direction of the grass blades consistently.
  3. Cutting to Size: Cut from the back, ensuring edges are joined correctly.
  4. Gluing: For multiple rolls, ensure straight edges and consistent spacing before applying adhesive tape.
  5. Stabilization: Choose between sand sprinkling for intensive use or pin anchoring for less intensive use.

Maintenance and Usage Recommendations

  • Avoid exposure to heat sources and chemicals to prevent damage.
  • For pet waste, rinse with water, and for chewing gum, use ice cubes for easier removal.
