Product catalog summary
Product Description
The dekorial-rustikal is a high-pressure laminate with a pure aluminium surface resembling tin, applied to a phenolic resin core. It features a UV-acrylic lacquer with a scratch hardness of > 1.5 N (EN 438). The surface is resistant to household agents and alcohol. Variations in gloss and surface texture are normal due to raw aluminium material and production processes. The product offers decorative effects with various embossing options.

Dimensions and Quality
Standard dimensions are 2440 mm x 1220 mm with a thickness range of 1.2 mm to 3.0 mm. The standard lacquered thickness is 1.2 mm with a density of 2.1 kg/m². Thickness tolerances are specified by EN 438. Fire behavior is classified as B2 – B1 (DIN 4102), with flame retardant options available. Protective surface foil is necessary and should be removed within six months.

Application and Processing
Designed for decorative vertical surfaces in interiors, not for heavy wear. Applications include wall and ceiling cladding, furniture, signage, and more. For heavy wear, glass protection is recommended. Processing involves sawing, routing, and drilling with tipped tools. Bonding requires specific temperature and pressure conditions, with various glue types suitable for use.

Bonding HPL-sheets
Special precautions are needed for bonding HPL sheets with metal foils, including uniform glue spread and sufficient airing to prevent blistering. Guidelines for bonding to wooden substrates include specific glue types and conditions for temperature, pressure, and pressing times.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean with a cloth or sponge using soap and water or glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners, acids, or alkalis.

Storage
Store in a closed room at 18-25°C and 50-60% humidity, horizontally or at an 80° skew with full support. Protect from moisture, sunlight, and warm air streams.

Waste Disposal
Rustikal waste can be incinerated or disposed of in landfills per local regulations, classified as "other hardened plastic waste material" similar to household waste.

Product data sheet Langenthaler Str. 4 69434 Hirschhorn/Neckar Germany phone 00-49-6272-689-0 fax 00-49-6272-689-30 Version: 10ZT09E rustikal Product Description The name dekorial-rustikal stands for a high pressure laminate with a pure aluminium surface which has the appearance of tin. This surface is applied to a core of phenolic resin using high pressure. All our products are coated with an UV - lacquer based on acryl. The lacquer has scratch hardness in EN 438 of > 1, 5 N. The surface is unaffected by common household agents / solvents. Alcohol has no effect. Slight variations of the silky shine / gloss coming from raw aluminium material are unavoidable. A slight unevenness in the surface as well as a slightly uneven density of the black colour in some of the aluminium surfaced laminates is one of the features of this product. The slight indendations are at the presesent stand of technique and are unavoidable and normal. Slight colour variations occur during the production process and are not detrimental to the overall appearance. The pure metal surface with the appearance of aluminium combined with rustic surface structures give further openings for a decorative effect in individual decoration. The various products can be embossed in a number of structures. Backing sheets for rustikal: A 209 Pure Aluminium smooth/hammered - lacquered HPL (Natural aluminium colour) We recommend this aluminium quality in smooth and in hammered surface as an inexpensive backing sheet. rustikal
