As defined in this standard, core layers are impregnated with phenolic and / or amino resins, and a top layer or layers, impregnated with amino resin (mainly melamine resin) are pressed into decorative high pressure laminates. The top layer in product line dekopix is a digital print with a melamine surface. The digital print in dekopix is protected by this melamine surface. The dekopix boards are therefore resistant against weak acids and bases. Graffiti also can be easily and without any residue removed from this surface by using Graffiti Remover. The printed special papers are preferably produced in a digital printing process. The colour line is secured in these prints. These prints are free of heavy metals and have a high light stability (within the scope of standard tolerances).
