INSPIRATION For the Brutal pattern, we took inspiration from functionalism and the Japanese ‘brutalist’ style that characterises the streets of the Japanese city of Okinawa. In this style, pure concrete surfaces are interrupted by adding holes that create a beautiful shadow play and dynamic end result. A contrast to the classic Japanese style, which is what makes it so inspiring. Our Brutal grass pavers are a nod to the classic grass paver, but with more options and nuances. Our Halftone was derived from the Brutal pattern. ‘Half tone’ is known as a printing technique characterised by a kind of dot pattern. Ideal for getting creative in a flat plane. As with the Brutal, you can experiment with straight lines and borders. The Halftone pattern is distinguished by the fact that the holes are smaller and rounded. This has not only an ergonomic advantage but also a practical one, as the grass pavers feel very pleasant to walk or cycle on.

The Halftone pattern is perfect for installing grass pavers in a variety of manners. Ideal for public places where many cyclists and pedestrians pass by.
