The ancient Egyptians were the fi rst to use wood veneer. In the pyramids of Giza a lot of wood veneered furniture was found. Today the technique has been refi ned but the aim is still the same, wood veneer optimises the usage of logs that are offered by nature.With a net usable surface of approximately 600 m 2 per m 3 log, no other natural prod-uct can give us such added value.
