Never one to be confined by convention, when Wolfgang C.R. Mezger set out to create the first chair that fuses painted wood with wood veneer the result was a whole new aesthetic and a new approach to bent plywood technology, appropriately named Join. Two vastly different frame options give designers the freedom to use Join as either a dramatically eye-catching or incredibly subdued part of a rooms’ aesthetic. The aluminum “A” frame is marked by sharp zigzagging angles which create an almost frenetic sense of motion from an inanimate piece.

Three-dimensional plywood technology produces a deeply formed curve and offers unmatched comfort and elegance to the one piece tapered shell. At the other end of the design spectrum is the super slim tubular steel frame option that is both stylish and graceful.
