Mezger set out to create the first chair that fuses painted wood with wood veneer the result was a whole new aesthetic and a new approach to bent plywood technology, appropriately named Join. Two vastly different frame options give designers the freedom to use Join as either a dramatically eye-catching or incredibly subdued part of a rooms’ aesthetic. The aluminum “A” frame is marked by sharp zigzagging angles which create an almost frenetic sense of motion from an inanimate piece.
