Operating Conditions:
Operating salt range is 3,000ppm – 36,000ppm, with an ideal range of 4,500ppm – 6,000ppm. Low salt alarm triggers at ~3,000ppm, and cut-out occurs at ~2,500ppm. Cooling is passive, requiring mounting on a flat vertical surface for ventilation. The electrolytic cell is made of coated titanium with reverse polarity. Maximum water temperature in the cell is 45°C (113°F), with recommended temperatures below 30°C (86°F) for chlorine effectiveness. Minimum recommended water temperature is 15°C (59°F).

Flow and Connections:
Minimum flow through the cell is 170L/min (45USG/min or 10.2m3/h) for COMM 500 and 235L/min (62USG/min or 14.1m3/h) for COMM 1000. Pipe connections are 3"/80mm or 2"/50mm with adaptors.

Approvals:
The models comply with standards EN60335-1, EN62233, EN61000-6-3, EN61000-3-2, EN61000-3-3, EN61000-4-2, EN61000-4-4, EN61000-4-5, EN61000-4-6, EN61000-4-11, EN55014-2, and have an IPX4 rating.
