Dark and Venuez share the same passion for hospitality. Their partnership created an intensive exchange between both of their core businesses: high profile design lighting in the hospitality scene. Dark’s great hospitality concepts are to be explored in the newest and finest bars, restaurants and hotels, where not only the food and drinks on the menu, but also the interior and design concepts add to the overall experience. Dark is known for the amazing lighting collection which has won the firm 52 design-awards. A long-held dream of Dark’s founder Marnick Smessaert was to create, in addition to lighting, furniture and objects as well. We are very excited to present No Car and Cup lover, design by Anthony Duffeleer. No Car and Cup lover are originally developed for the state-of-art project for a BMW dealership in Wijnegem, Belgium. The design is a nod to the ‘Hofmeister-kink’ in the BMW car design, named after Wilhelm Hofmeister who was head of the design department at BMW in the 1950s and 60s. CUP LOVER

At Quinze and Milan’s headquarters in Kortrijk, Belgium we're displaying some of Dark’s most exclusive lighting concepts: Oblivion. The Oblivion is an organic 3D-light sculpture created by the famous Belgian designer and artist Arne Quinze which reminds us of the magical worlds of trolls, unicorns and other fantastic creatures.
