FEV-Z climate sensor

FEV-Z climate sensor

Product catalog summary
Product Overview: The FEV-Z is a climate sensor designed for use with the AB-QM automatic flow limiter. It functions as a proportional controller, adjusting the valve based on temperature deviations. It is suitable for climate systems such as ceiling, floor, or radiator heating.
Specifications: The FEV-Z comes with an adapter for the AB-QM flow limiter and an 8-meter capillary tube. The setting range is between 17-27 °C, with a comfort temperature of approximately 22 °C.
Design and Functionality: The sensor features a direct-acting valve controller that opens the valve when the temperature falls below the set point. It includes a valve adapter specifically for Danfoss AB-QM limiters. The sensor operates on a self-acting principle using liquid-filled sensors and capillaries.
Temperature Control: The control area is defined by the FEK sensor with RA-C valve, with settings allowing for adjustments above or below the comfort temperature of 22 °C. The knob settings influence the valve's opening temperature.
Flow and Valve Specifications: The document provides flow rates for different valve sizes (DN 10, DN 15, DN 20) with corresponding P-band values.
Temperature Limitation: The set temperature can be limited or locked using the built-in device, depending on the sensor type and valves used.
Dimensions: The FEV-Z has specific dimensions, including an M30 x 1.5 connection size.

FEV-Z climate sensor-1

Data Sheet FEV-Z Climate Sensors for AB-QM Automatic Flow Limiter Product The FEV-Z climate sensor is a proportional controller which opens or closes an AB-QM automatic flow limiter valve as a function of the temperature deviation. The FEV-Z is to be applied in climate systems with i.e. ceiling-, floor- or radiator heating. The FEV-Z climate sensor should be mounted on an internal wall at a height of approximately 1.5 meter in such a way that the room temperature can be measured accurately.
