Product catalog summary
Introduction to FusionSolar™
FusionSolar™ is a thin-film laminate integrated with a standing seam metal roof, offering aesthetic, environmental, and cost-saving benefits for both commercial and residential applications. Manufactured by Uni-Solar® for Custom-Bilt Metals, it is bonded directly to the roof panels, providing flexibility and durability without requiring roof penetrations or additional structural support.

Durability and Efficiency
The laminate can withstand winds up to 160 mph and can be walked on safely. It offers a faster return on investment with a lower cost per watt compared to traditional polycrystalline panels, paying for itself in 10 years or less. FusionSolar is highly efficient, performing well under high temperatures and low light conditions.

Aesthetic Design
The thin-film laminate can cover all or part of a standing seam roof, lying flat and flush with the surface, even on curved designs. Panels are available in 9’ or 18’ lengths.

Environmental and Economic Benefits
FusionSolar produces electricity without pollution, replacing coal-generated electricity. It qualifies for various federal and state tax credits and contributes to sustainable building program points. A 20-year warranty is provided by Custom-Bilt Metals.

System Components and Installation
The system includes all necessary components, schematics, and specifications for installation by electrical subcontractors. No specialized solar installers are required, as sheet metal or roofing professionals can install the roof with the laminate attached. The system works with the public utility grid, providing clean, renewable power.

Customization and Options
Custom-Bilt Metals offers FusionSolar systems tailored to different budgets and energy needs, with options ranging from 3 to 120 kW systems.
