Cristal Pontevedresa, established in 1959 by Francisco Barbeito Castro, started as a family-run glass cutting and fitting business. It has grown into a renowned company with state-of-the-art glass transformation technologies at its 16,000 square meter facility. The company prioritizes safety, personalized design, versatility, and energy efficiency, supported by its R&D department.

Our Facilities
The company operates a 16,000 square meter facility, inaugurated in 2009 with a 9 million Euro investment. This facility achieves a 30% reduction in energy consumption due to new technologies and includes advanced equipment such as TAMGLASS tempering furnaces and BYSTRONIC lamination systems.

Our Brands
Laminated + Tempered Glass: This glass is six times more impact-resistant than conventional glass, offering customization, sound insulation, and energy efficiency. It is used in shop windows, interior partitions, and anti-theft glass.
LAMIDUR®: Known for safety and design, LAMIDUR® supports multi-material applications and can include non-slip elements, used in architecture and design for facades, floors, and more.
TEMPEREDGLASSPLUS®: This glass is six times more resistant than standard glass, ideal for high-impact areas like facades and shop windows, and can be customized through vitrifying and screen-printing.
GLASSBOX: These shower enclosures and bath screens are made with tempered glass, offering high resistance and security, customizable and easy to install.
