Dedicated to his role at CP Electronics, committed to his community work and passionate about cricket, Herbert is well respected by the CP community. Managing Director Paul Mans said “Known for his generous spirit and cheery nature, Herbert is always ready to give a helping hand to all. We are grateful for his hard work over the years and thank him for his efforts.” Congratulations and thanks to Herbert on this milestone from all at CP Electronics. Introducing our easy to install surface mount detector New from CP Electronics is the EBDSM, our energy saving surface mount presence detector. Perfect for simple attachment when flush mounting is not possible, this versatile unit is self contained and installs effortlessly via a back plate. Utilising passive infrared (PIR) detection, the EBDSM detector monitors the zone, switching on when occupancy is detected, or off when the area is vacated following a preset time. If there is sufficient natural light, a built-in photocell will keep the lighting switched off. A manual on/off override function is available via an optional infrared handset. The EBDSM has no external control boxes, dramatically reducing installation time. Three models are available: premium (PRM), direct dim (DD), and analogue dim (AD) all of which will control a wide range of luminaires. The direct dim variant controls DALI or DSI digital dimming ballasts whilst the analogue dim variants controls 1-10V dimming ballasts.
