STRAIGHT STAIRCASES Staircases are custom made to suit the client's requirements with either flights supported off precast landings, which are built in, or flights with quarter landings attached onto steelwork or blockwork supports. Winder units can also be incorporated. AH units can be offloaded and craned directly into place. Where units are supported by precast landings, both concrte flights and landings corne with a good enough finish to be left uncovered or to receive a thin applied finish. (For example Carpet, Vinyl etc) Where flights with quarter landings are required, it is generally advisable to allow for a rebate in the top of the quarter landing for post flx screeding which caters for the interface between manufacturing and site tolrances. Precast flights are generally cast face down in steel moulds but can be cast on their side or face up to suit the client's requirements. If applied architectural finishes are required, this can also be catered forr as well as non-slip strips. Architectural staircases to suit the clients needs are available including precast spine beams with cantilivering open treads, or if preferred, this is also available with a steel spine beam. Ail precast stairs and landings are designed, detailed and supplied by CCP to meet the exact requirements of the contract and no adjustment of the construction is necessary to incorporate them provided that there are sufficient supports and suitable access. Precast staircases are often used by contractors for access during construction, and hence we offer a fitted tread protection service. CCP also offer an rection service by our trained and qualified operatives. 1' shaped tread and riser units are also available and can be supported off blockwork walls each side. Thse are ideally suited to small works where no cr騢ne access is possible and for contracts with little or no rptition between units.
