Product catalog summary
Introduction
This case study from Cornish Concrete Products (CCP) highlights the use of their crosswall system in a bespoke building project on Hill Top Road, Oxford. Traditionally used in hotels, student residences, flats, and prisons, the system was adapted for a unique architectural design.

Specifications and Procedures
The crosswall system involves panels marked by a robotic plotter for dimensional accuracy, with shutters held by magnets to maintain surface integrity. Steel loops and dowels are used for joint connections, ensuring a smooth finish without visible formwork joints. The panels were delivered and installed on-site in just six days.

Architectural and Aesthetic Considerations
The architect aimed to create a building where the structural fabric served as the interior finish, emphasizing the aesthetic quality of concrete. The precast system met these objectives, with smooth wall and ceiling finishes and natural color variations. A clear coat of Keim mineral paint was applied for sealing, maintaining the concrete's expression.

Environmental and Quality Standards
CCP is committed to environmental responsibility, holding ISO14001 accreditation and being a signatory of the British Precast Sustainability Charter. Their Ecocrete product, used in this project, contains at least 85% secondary content, minimizing environmental impact. CCP also holds ISO9001 for quality management.

Conclusion
This project demonstrates CCP's ability to deliver high-quality, environmentally responsible concrete solutions that meet both architectural and client expectations.
