Heavy Duty Induction Cooktops

Heavy Duty Induction Cooktops

Product catalog summary
Overview: CookTek® offers heavy-duty induction cooktops designed for professional kitchens, providing power, efficiency, speed, and control. These units are engineered to integrate seamlessly into existing workspaces, offering energy savings and a precise cooking experience.
How Induction Works: Induction cooking heats the pan directly through an alternating electromagnetic current, exciting iron molecules in the pan to generate heat. This method is more efficient than traditional gas or electric ranges, which heat indirectly.
Cooking Benefits: Induction cooktops keep the cooking surface cool, reducing energy consumption and allowing for faster reaction times. The direct heating of the pan ensures even heat distribution, minimizing the risk of burning or scorching food. Cleanup is easier as spills do not burn onto the surface.
Features: CookTek® cooktops feature square coils for large heating surfaces, available in 4-burner or 6-burner models with 3500 watts per burner. They offer 0-10 power settings, independent burner control, and a clear LED display. The units are ETL certified, NSF, and CE approved.
Durability: Designed for commercial use, these cooktops have a thick glass-ceramic top and modular burners for easy maintenance. The stainless steel housing and robust construction ensure durability and strength.
Energy Efficiency: Induction cooktops deliver 90-95% of the energy to the pan, significantly reducing utility bills and kitchen heat compared to traditional ranges, which waste much of their energy.
Conclusion: CookTek® induction cooktops offer a faster, safer, cleaner, cooler, and cheaper cooking solution for professional chefs, enhancing kitchen efficiency and performance.

Cooking Benefits From a user’s perspective, this means that while the pot is heated the cooking surface is not. The surface remains cold to the touch and hardly any energy is consumed - even if the knob is set to full. Once a pot is placed on the surface, heating commences. Because the pan is heated directly, it takes less time to accomplish the same cooking tasks than on traditional electric or gas ranges. Reaction time is faster (on boil/off boil) and the cooking surface still remains relatively cool - not hot enough to burn skin. There is a second benefit to this in that spills do not burn...

Durability CookTek®’s commercial ranges were designed, built, and tested to withstand the rigors of a commercial restaurant environment. The glass-ceramic top is thicker than usual and each burner (hob) is modular, so that if there is a problem with one cooking position, the others are unaffected. Field service is easy - the top pops open like the hood of a car and a module can be replaced within minutes. The chassis features overbuilt legs and hefty cast metal control knobs, making it look, feel, and perform just right for professional cooks. Durability, energy savings, power, and performance....

Energy Efficiency One of the major benefits of induction cooking is improved efficiency. Amazingly, only around 30-40% of the gas energy is delivered to the pan on traditional gas ranges. Traditional electric ranges fair only slightly better at around 50%. The rest is wasted to heating the cooktop itself and, of course, heating the kitchen. In contrast, a CookTek® induction cooktop delivers 90-95% of the energy it draws to the pan. The result? Much lower utility bills and a cool kitchen. There are further potential savings from not using as much air conditioning to get rid of waste heat - it’s...
