La collezione The New Essential invece, si pone come una nuova fonte di trasgressione e innovazione, attraverso l’eclettismo di stili contaminati messi in atto da Silvio De Ponte e Pietro Gaeta. Nel 2009, Colombostile continua la sperimentazione creativa e accosta il proprio nome a quello di Swarovski, celeberrima azienda produttrice di cristalli, dando vita a una sorprendente proposta in cui l’arte ebanistica si fonde all’arte manifatturiera del cristallo.
