Product catalog summary
Overview: The Tecnopress Series E165A and E205A are dual fuel burners capable of operating on both gas and light oil. They feature separate mechanical systems for each fuel type, allowing them to burn fuels independently. An independent electric motor activates the oil pump, which remains off during gas firing.
Specifications: The burners are equipped with a high-performance combustion head optimized for natural gas, achieving a turndown ratio of 1:3 through a by-passing nozzle and pressure regulator. The control panel includes a mimic diagram with neon lamps to indicate operational stages, and a UV photocell for flame detection.
Technical Details:
  • Model E165A: Power range 320-1650 kW, electric supply 230/400 V 3N ac, fan motor 2.2 kW, pump motor 0.55 kW, noise level < 75 dBA.
  • Model E205A: Power range 340-2050 kW, electric supply 230/400 V 3N ac, fan motor 3.0 kW, pump motor 0.55 kW, noise level < 75 dBA.
Gas connections are available in sizes 1”½, 2”, DN65, and DN80.
Dimensional Data: The document provides detailed dimensions for various models, including overall dimensions and recommended drilling templates for installation.
Graphical Data: Graphs illustrate the relationship between gas output (kW) and pressure, highlighting the need to add boiler back pressure to the values read on the curve for accurate gas pressure requirements.

603 TECNOPRESS [kW 320 ÷ 2.050]-1

Like all the other dual fuels models, this series perfectly combine the mechanical devices and systems typical of gas burners with the ones of light oil burners. In this way this series can burn the two flues separately. This is possible because these burners are equipped with an independent electric motor for the activation of the oil pump. As a consequence during gas firing, the oil pump motor does not operate and remains off. They are equipped with a high performance combustion head designed to achieve the maximum efficiency when they work on natural gas; combustion head is also equipped with a by-passing nozzle which, using a pressure regulator, can reach a turndown ratio 1:3. The control panel is printed with a mimic diagram fitted with neon lamps to indicate the different stages of the burner operation. The burner is provided by an UV photocell to detect the flame during operation. Back-pressure in combustion chamber (mbar)

To know the minimum gas pressure at gas train, in order to get the gas output, it is necessary to add the boiler back pressure to the value read on the curve.
