Laying Operations
1. Choose tiles based on aesthetic and technical requirements, considering style and space use.
2. Avoid edge-to-edge laying without joints, especially outdoors. Use 2 mm joints for rectified products and 4-5 mm for non-rectified products.
3. Specify multiformat laying at the time of ordering.
4. Tiles can be laid with traditional mortar or adhesive.
5. Follow professional standards and instructions from the designer and site manager.
6. Adhere to material processing times as per manufacturer guidelines.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Post-laying cleaning is crucial for maintenance. Use acid-based cleaners to remove residues, ensuring joints are wet to prevent acid damage. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning. Regular maintenance should use neutral detergents, avoiding abrasive tools. For stubborn dirt, use appropriate detergents.

Special Recommendations
Avoid using hydrofluoric acid-based cleaners as they cause irreparable damage. Cleaning characteristics vary based on installation and use conditions. Increased slip resistance may complicate cleaning.

Product Treatment
Lapped and polished products may require stain protection post-laying. Any pre-laying treatment will be removed by acid cleaning, so stain protection should be applied afterward.

Installation Guidelines for Cercom Tiles
